When our two greatest loves are combined. As volunteer web designers for madra animal rescue we get a great kick going through all the pictures submitted for the website, the facebook page and the printed material. And of course we get an even greater kick when we get to show off our own four legged friends. Meet Bacon, Sausage and Floyd. Bacon  and Sausage are both strays we found wandering around Galway and Floyd is a bone fide Madra rescued dog!!

The most exciting event on the canine calendar is coming soon!

Come and join us for our first ever MADRA Dog Expo fundraising event on Sunday, May 29th, 2011. We’ll have dog shows, training demonstrations, healthy hound advice, grooming tips, adoption centres, pet photography, and of course a shopping extravaganza for your four legged best-friend.

Enter your dog in one of the many show categories or let them strut their stuff on the dog walk! Send in your stories in advance for our heart warming tales category, or enter our competition and your dog could be a V.I.D (Very Important Dog) for the day!

Special guests will include Celebrity Vet, Pete Wedderburn (right); Dog Trainer to the Stars, Mary Owens of Fircroft Kennels; Friend of MADRA, Sharon Shannon, and of course our MADRA dogs and puppies.
